NT Meter – Network bandwidth meter and statistics logger
NT Meter (Network Traffic Meter)is an advanced tool for bandwidth measuring and network traffic monitoring. The program completely monitors the bandwidth usage of a specified network connection on your computer, graphically and numerically displays its state in real-time. With NT Meter you can easily check the characteristics of the network connection and view detailed statistical reports for all network interfaces you have installed (Modem, Dial-Up, LAN, WAN, DSL, VPN, Satellite, etc.).Unlike other products, the bandwidth data are displayed by unobtrusive Bandwidth Meter window with Graphs Shade technology. That realy hampers you in no way. There is a variety of user definable options to visualize the Graphs window and set up the program behavior. The unobtrusive and real-time bandwidth monitoring will help you to rate your bandwidth usage continually, control your internet costs and avoid hostile internet traffic (hackers, viruses, trojans, worms etc.). The program shows the current speed of bandwidth usage, total incoming and outgoing data, sessional connection time and type of the network interface. Moreover, you can view any additional network interface in the same Bandwidth Meter window (e.g. for double-way and satellite-type connections). The incoming and outgoing traffic is logged to a file, so that you can always view the accumulated statistics of each network interface on your computer. These hourly, daily, monthly and yearly reports can be exported into Microsoft Excel for further processing. The NT Meter Bandwidth Meter window displays the real-time traffic data of a specified network connection on your computer. Thus the tray menu allows you to open NT Meter Settings and NT Meter Statistics windows. Click a picture to enlarge it.

Download Graph shows incoming data to the computer (green color)
Upload Graph shows outgoing data from the computer (red color)
Combined Graph shows both downloaded and uploaded data (mixed color)
Numeric Speed shows maximal graph value and conforms to the horizontal grid line
Total Traffic shows total downloaded and uploaded data per current session
Session Time shows the period of the current session
Scale Diagram shows speed relative to the fixed connection types (Modem, DSL, LAN, etc.)
Interface Pictogram shows network interface as the associative picture (RAS or LAN).

Left-click on the Tray Icon allows you to show/hide the Bandwidth Meter window, Double-click to show it on top or bottom
and Right-click to access the program's pop-up menu.
The NT Meter Tray Menu contains commands to control the utility and to retrieve the assistive information.
